AutoStart Media Shout.exe - created using
AutoIt3
This little program starts MediaShout, waits for any thumbnails to
be generated, and then fires the first cue automatically. Just
download this program to your desktop, and double-click to manually
start.
No installation required.
By using MediaShout script control cues, you can then run your
presentation automatically - using MediaShout's control cue options
- skip, jump, loop, etc.
You can use this to run a MediaShout presentation in an unattended
"Kiosk Mode" by using Task Scheduler to run "AutoStart Media
Shout.exe" whenever Windows starts. Even if there is a power outage,
your presentation will automatically startup and run when power
returns (set Windows for unattended startup).
You can use Windows Task Scheduler* to run this program at a
scheduled date/time and then it will start your presentation for you
automatically. For example, you could have it start up at 8:00AM every Sunday, etc.
Windows Task Scheduler allows you to setup Multiple schedules - eg:
Sunday at 8:00AM, 11AM, 6PM , Friday at noon, etc.
*Windows Task Scheduler: In XP, open Control Panel and click on
"Scheduled Tasks" & then click on "Add Scheduled Task" . In Vista,
click on "Control Panel" -> "Administrative Tools"->"Task Scheduler"
and then add "AutoStart Media Shout.exe" as a scheduled task.
